No News is Good(gle) News?

Well Google hasn’t done anything for me to date and I don’t expect them to…thanks!

I got my account back

I got my gmail account back.

Here’s the story.

I was at the hospital for the birth of my 2nd daughter.  I came home to upload photos of the new baby.  On a whim, I tried to login into my gmail account and I got in.

I thought that my account was reset by Google.  It had been about 3 weeks and thought they had finally gotten around to helping.

But this morning I noticed a message I had sent from another of my email accounts asking for my account to be reset.

Whomever hijacked my account had read it and wrote back.

10 days ago they wrote “I have reset your password to _____.  Good luck.” Are you kidding me?

One Week

It’s now been one week and nothing from Google.

However Facebook fixed the page that was hacked within a few hours of being contacted.  It only took one email.

My gmail email account was hacked on Nov 7, 2007.

However, no one from Google has responded to my on-line requests for help. The phone numbers don’t help either – because the message states that they don’t provide live technical support

So what I am going to do is chronicle how long it takes someone from Google to contact me about this.

Right now it has been 25 1/2 hours and no response.
